This robot was developed in South Korea, will soon begin trials on duty as a prison guard. The device is equipped with a 3D-camera, which will monitor the slightest changes in the behavior of prisoners, and immediately raise the alarm if it seems suspicious. The robot moves in a standalone mode, but can also be operated manually with the iPad. Watch the video.
